About Genbox

Genbox is a free generation toolbox for developers — instant browser-based utilities powered by AI.

What is Genbox?

Genbox is a collection of free, AI-powered developer tools built to be fast, accessible, and genuinely useful. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server, no account is required, and there are no usage limits.

The name comes from "generation toolbox" — a place to generate and transform things: regex patterns, formatted JSON, code explanations, and more.

The SEO Experiment

Genbox is also an open SEO experiment. We're using this site to rigorously test every legitimate search ranking technique, measure the results in Google Search Console, and document what actually moves the needle in 2026.

Every technical decision — structured data choices, content structure, URL patterns, internal linking density, Core Web Vitals scores — is a deliberate test with a hypothesis attached. We publish the findings in the blog and track live experiments in the experiments section.

If we discover anything that looks like unintended ranking behavior (signals Google didn't intend to be signals), we'll document it and report it to Google's Vulnerability Reward Program.

The Stack

Genbox is built with Astro (static site generation), deployed on Cloudflare Pages for global edge delivery. Zero JavaScript by default — only the tool pages ship interactive scripts, and only what's needed.

This gives us perfect Lighthouse scores as a baseline and means we're testing SEO with the technical variables minimized — no performance excuses, just signal quality.
